Careful Monitoring - Travel Concerns

We are carefully monitoring the situation concerning COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and are following the directions from the Oklahoma State Department of Education and the directives from Governor Stitt. At this time, Watts Public School will be open (March 23rd) following spring break.  We will send out information through our text message system if anything changes.

As directed by the State Department of Education, certain requirements apply to anyone who might travel out of the country over spring break or at any other time:

Individuals returning from travel to China, South Korea, Italy, Iran, Japan or any other Level 2 or 3 country as identified by the CDC must self-quarantine for a period of 14 days before returning to school.

Steps for returning travelers from Level 2 or 3 countries as identified by the CDC: 1) Take your temperature with a thermometer two times a day and monitor for fever. 2) Watch for cough or trouble breathing. 3) Stay home and avoid contact with others. 4) Do not go to work or school for this 14-day period. 5) Discuss your situation with your district before returning to work or school.

Thank you for your cooperation during this situation.
